Rain free Memorial Day weekend for most

Expect a mix of sun and clouds on Saturday. A few showers or isolated storms will be possible across Central Texas, otherwise, the unofficial start of summer will feel unofficial. Temperatures both days this weekend will be several degrees below normal with highs in the upper 70s. The normal high for late May is in the upper 80s.

Much of the weekend will be dry, but rain chances will return overnight Sunday as a complex of storms approach from the west. There will be a slight chance of storms on Memorial Day with the highest chance to the west of the DFW metro.

Next week will be unsettled with daily rain and storm chances. No severe weather is expected at this time.
