Teen critically wounded in shooting outside Fort Worth high school

A teenage boy was critically wounded in a shooting outside Eastern Hills High School in Fort Worth on Monday afternoon.

Police were called about 5:20 p.m. to the school, near Meadowbrook Drive and Weiler Boulevard, where a shooting had been reported in the parking lot. According to a police incident report, a 911 caller said the shooter drove off.

The victim was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital and was in critical condition.

No additional details were immediately available.
