Man dies after being found shot in car in central Oak Cliff, Dallas police say

A 34-year-old man died early Sunday after he was found shot multiple times in a car in central Oak Cliff, Dallas police say.

Officers were called about 2 a.m. to the 1000 block of Wilbur Street, near Illinois and Vernon avenues, where they found Steven Frank Valadez wounded.

He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said that the motive for the killing was unknown and that no suspects were in custody.
