Deputies suspect road rage in deadly shooting on Highway 6 in west Harris County

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Deputies believe road rage was involved in a deadly shooting in west Harris County on Saturday night.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said an investigation got underway in the 4000 block of South Highway 6 at Alief Clodine, which is near the Westpark Tollway.

Eyewitness News has learned one person was killed in the incident that happened about 7:40 p.m.

In a tweet, Gonzalez said the suspect or suspects got away in a blue Ford Mustang.

Other details, including whether anyone else was hit by gunfire, were not immediately disclosed.
