Man fatally shot at illegal gaming room in Dallas’ Mountain Creek area, police say

A man was shot to death early Thursday in the Mountain Creek area, Dallas police said.

Officers were called about 4:20 a.m. to the 1800 block of Mountain Creek Parkway, just west of Spur 408, where a shooting had been reported.

Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced the victim dead from gunshot wounds. The Dallas County medical examiner’s office is working to identify him.

Police said Friday that the shooter had driven to the property — an illegal game room — about 3:45 a.m. and shot the victim. They released images of a suspect vehicle, believed to be a white newer-model Chevrolet Impala.
