HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — An area of low pressure to our southwest will continue pumping in tropical moisture. That means we’ll have more heavy rainstorms Tuesday, especially during the afternoon. Once again, some isolated instances of street flooding will be possible.
Will the rain ease up a bit any time this week?
There will be less moisture over us Wednesday through Friday which means we’ll have less rain. Rain chances then will peak at 40%.
Will the rain keep temperatures down at least?
Yes. Instead of the middle and upper 90s temps we had last week, the hottest we’ll get is in the low 90s Thursday and Friday.
What about 4th of July weekend?
At this time, it looks like another slug of moisture will move in and give us more heavy rain. That’s still a long way off so it’s possible things could change.
