Warm and muggy weather

weathe

North Texas is in a rather inactive weather pattern, and that will be the case for the rest of the work week. The days will be warm but not overly hot. Rain chances will be slim and spotty, and mainly south of the DFW metro area.

High temperatures will remain slightly below normal in the low 90s the next few days. Humidity levels will be high enough to boost the afternoon heat index to the upper 90s.

A weak cold front will move into North Texas on Sunday with a chance of showers and storms. Temperatures will drop a bit, and the humidity may also come down a touch.
