Person found fatally shot in West Dallas apartment, police say

A person was found fatally shot inside a West Dallas apartment complex Tuesday afternoon, according to Dallas police.

Around 12:36 p.m. on Tuesday, officers were called to an apartment at 660 Yorktown Street, police said. Officers who responded to the call found a person, who was not identified, with a single gunshot wound, according to Dallas police.

Police did not provide any information on who may be responsible for the fatal shooting, and asked the public’s assistance in investigating the incident.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment of those involved in the fatal shooting.
