Not bad for July

A cold front moved through North Texas on Monday bringing scattered showers and storms to the area. Rain chances will decrease tonight, although spotty evening storms are possible.

Tuesday will be rather comfortable for July with highs in the upper 80s to around 90. There is a low chance for a pop up storm or two Tuesday afternoon, but they will end during the evening.

Wednesday through Friday will remain a bit cooler than normal with highs in the low 90s. A stray storm can’t be ruled out Friday but much of the time will be dry.

Hotter weather will return to North Texas this weekend and next week. In fact, we could see some triple digit high temperatures next week.
