Wet start to Monday

Widespread rain and a few thunderstorms will continue Monday morning. Severe weather is not expected, but locally heavy downpours are possible. Roads will likely stay wet through mid-morning. With the extra clouds hanging around today, temperatures will be held down. The high will likely remain in the upper 80s. Rain chances will diminish by afternoon. Most will be dry for the afternoon/evening commute.

Dry weather returns Tuesday and the rest of the week. Temperatures will slowly recovery to the “hot” category by late in the week. A Heat Advisory will likely be reissued toward the weekend.
