27-year-old man dies after weekend shooting in Oak Lawn, officials say

A 27-year-old man died after being shot over the weekend in Oak Lawn, officials said.

Dallas police were called about 2:40 a.m. Saturday to the 3700 block of Lemmon Avenue, near Oak Lawn Avenue, where officers found Kevin Li wounded inside a vehicle.

Li, who had been shot in the head, was taken to a hospital. The Dallas County medical examiner’s office said he died later Saturday.

Police did not say whether they have made any arrests or identified any suspects, or whether detectives have established a motive for the shooting.
