Weekend cold front

A weak, summertime cold front will move through North Texas this weekend. The front will bring an increased chance of storms along with a drop in temperatures.

While no widespread severe weather is expected, a few storms may produce gusty winds, brief heavy rain and lightning. The most likely time for showers and storms will be during the afternoons and evenings this weekend. It certainly won’t be a washout and not everyone will end up getting a storm.

High temperatures will be in the low 90s over the weekend and into the first part of next week.
