A hot and dry pattern

Saturday will be a hot and dry day across North Texas with a little less of a breeze to take the edge off of the heat. Afternoon heat index values will range from 100 to 104.

The humidity will stay with us thanks to the wet ground and a humid flow of air coming in from the Gulf of Mexico. We’ll gradually see the humidity levels decrease a bit by Sunday.

Next week looks seasonably hot and dry with little if any chance of rain.
