2 killed, 1 wounded, none arrested in pair of shootings in Fort Worth

Two people were killed and a third was wounded in a pair of shootings early Monday in Fort Worth, police say.

Officers were called just before 1 a.m. to the 6200 block of Finbro Drive, near McCart Avenue and Altamesa Boulevard, where they found a man lying in the street. He had been shot in the head and was pronounced dead, police said.

About two hours later, police responded to a report of a shooting at West Rosedale and Hemphill streets and found two men wounded. One of the men was pronounced dead there, and the other was taken to a hospital.

The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office has not released the identity of either victim.

Police were continuing to investigate the slayings. They had not announced any arrests Monday evening or released information about what led to the shootings.
