2 in critical condition, 2 others wounded in separate Far East Dallas shootings, police say

Four people were wounded, two of them critically, in separate shootings overnight Friday less than two miles from each other in Far East Dallas, police say.

Officers who were called Friday night to the 2300 block of Charles Street, near Ferguson Road and I-30, found two men who had been shot.

Both men, whose names were not released, were taken to a hospital, where one of them was in critical condition, police said.

The person who shot the men may have fled in a blue sedan, police said.

Early Saturday, oficers were called to Ferguson Road and Lakeland Drive, where they found two men who had been shot.

The victims, who were not publicly identified, were hospitalized, police said. One of them was critically wounded.

Police did not release details about possible suspects and did not provide information about what led to the shootings.
