Storm chances return on Sunday

The normal high temperature this time of year is 92, but we were well above that again Saturday afternoon, when it reached 97.

But we can expect a bit of a drop in temperatures the next few days as a weak cold front slips into North Texas. The front will arrive Sunday with scattered showers and a few thunderstorms possible Sunday morning and afternoon. But much of North Texas will see no rain at all.

The best chance of rain Monday will be farther south, in central Texas. Labor Day should be dry for DFW. Temperatures will be a little closer to normal for much of the week.
