Man at large after fatally stabbing ex-girlfriend at her apartment, Grand Prairie police say

Grand Prairie authorities are looking for a man who is accused of fatally stabbing his ex-girlfriend Wednesday afternoon.

Police were called about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday to an apartment in the 2400 block of West Pioneer Parkway, near South Great Southwest Parkway, where the attack was reported.

Officers found 25-year-old Idalis Carrero Magobet in her living room. She was pronounced dead at the apartment.

Police said they identified 32-year-old Ricardo Nevarez Suarez, who had been in a relationship with Carrero, as a suspect and are seeking him on a murder charge.
