27-year-old man found fatally shot in Far North Dallas home

A 27-year-old man was found fatally shot inside a Far North Dallas home Saturday morning, police said.

Around 9:20 a.m., police were called to a home in the 5600 block of Spring Valley Road, near Montfort Drive.

Officers found the victim, identified as Ladwight Tremell Mitchell, shot multiple times inside the home. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The motive and circumstances around the shooting are still being investigated, police said.
