PML-N to split into three parties, claims Rashid

RAWALPINDI: Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Friday said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would split into three political parties soon.

“Next 120 days are important in the politics of the country. Imran Khan will win next general elections and PML-N will divide into three parties,” he said this while talking to media after inaugurating new block of Rawalpindi Women University.

“We should not waste time in blame game, rather we should do serious politics,” he said.

The minister said, “Crisis in Afghanistan will definitely affect us, so being a mature nation, we should pay attention to recent developments in the world.”

He said Imran Khan had handled Covid-19 very well.

He admitted that infalation had hit the country but Prime Minister Imran Khan would control it.

Lashing out at PML-N, Sheikh Rashid said that those who are criticising institutions are trying to make numbers. The spit on the sky will fall on their faces. “Pakistan is great nation and its army is the best,” he said.

Talking about women university, the minister said that it was his mission to complete the development projects in education sector in his life.

“This month, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar will inaugurate the third women university in Rawalpindi, Waqar-ul-Nisa University,” he said.

He said only 5,000 students are studying in a college in Dhok Hassu and Rawalpindi become first city of the country in terms of female students’ education.

He said the credit went to Imran Khan and Usman Bazdar.

He said that no one can defeat Rawalpindi because of the daughters of Rawalpindi are educated. “It is an honor for me that the daughter of a rickshaw driver of my city has topped in CSS,” he said.

Parliamentary Secretary on Narcotics Sheikh Rashid Shafique, Rawalpindi Women University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Anila Kamal, teachers and students including the Director Education were present on the occasion.

Commenting on Leh Nullah Expressway, he said that the project will be inaugurated in December.
