Warm start to the work-week, then storm chances

Unseasonably warm weather will be the theme to kick-off the new work-week. Highs in the mid to upper 80s are expected today and Tuesday under mostly sunny skies. In addition, the humidity will start to creep back up on Tuesday.

These well above normal temperatures will come to a head Wednesday as a strong storm system provides a chance of thunderstorms. These storms could produce some gusty winds and heavy downpours early Wednesday morning.

After the storms clear, a cold front will bring breezy and cooler weather to North Texas the rest of the week. The weekend should be clear and dry for any trick-or-treat plans.
