1 wounded in Far North Dallas shooting, police say

One person was left with multiple gunshot wounds following a shooting in Far North Dallas early Sunday, police said.

Officers responded to a shooting call at 12:20 a.m. in the 13500 block of Esperanza Road and found the injured person.

They were taken to a hospital in critical condition, police said. Their identity has not been released.

Police said that one person involved in the shooting is being questioned by detectives.

An investigation into what led to the shooting is ongoing, police said. No further information was available.
