Coldest morning so far this season

The temperature dropped to 39 at DFW Airport Saturday morning, the coldest so far this season. And some parts of the area actually fell to the freezing point. Despite the cold start, Saturday afternoon was very pleasant, with sunshine and highs in the 60s and 70s. Sunday will also be sunny and mild.

In fact, all of this next week looks pleasant with continued sunshine each day. Breezy south winds will return by Tuesday and Wednesday, and that will bring a significant warm up. A cold front will push through Wednesday night into Thursday. There may be a few showers in east Texas, but our part of the state should remain dry. Temperatures will trend quite a bit cooler to finish the week.
