Man fatally shot inside vehicle on I-30; police looking for truck possibly connected to gunfire

A 49-year-old man was fatally shot while inside a vehicle on Interstate 30 on Saturday evening, Dallas police said.

Police responded to reports of a shooting on eastbound I-30, just before the Interstate 45 and Interstate 75 spilt, around 7:40 p.m. They found a man with a gunshot wound inside his vehicle.

The injured man, Juan Manuel Hurtado, was taken to a hospital and pronounced

Police said a light-colored truck may have been involved in the shooting, but no additional information about what led to the shooting or suspects was immediately available.
