Sunny, cool and dry weekend

After a cold start to the weekend, temperatures began to moderate a bit by Saturday afternoon, and that warming trend will continue Sunday, when temperatures climb back into the 60s. Overall, it will be a nice weekend with sunshine and light winds.

The clouds are expected to roll in Monday along with a chance of showers. The rain looks very promising for areas south of Interstate 20, where up to a quarter inch of rain is likely. But farther north, any rain will be very limited. After that one day of welcome rain, the rest of next week looks dry.
