Sunshine and a warming trend

With full sunshine, and temperatures climbing back into the 40s Saturday, significant melting of the ice and snow occurred during the day. Roads will be mostly dry tonight and in good shape for driving. But another freeze is expected overnight. Any shady spots that don’t see the ice completely melt, or low spots and underpasses where water collects, will still refreeze and be slick Sunday morning.

All residual snow and ice should be gone by Sunday afternoon.

A warming trend will take place this week. Milder weather will return with 50s and 60s expected. No precipitation is expected in the next 10 days.
