Sunshine and a warming trend

With plentiful sunshine and temperatures climbing back into the 50s Sunday, the last of the ice and snow is melting. Only a few patches of ice will remain in shaded areas, and roads are almost all clear and dry.

A weak cold front will move through DFW Sunday evening, but it will have negligible effects on our weather. Then a warming trend continues for most of the work week.

Temperatures by Tuesday will climb into the mid-60s. And by Friday, the forecast high reaches 72. No precipitation is expected in the next 10 days.
