Warm Friday, then a cold front

The work week will end with the warmest weather of the week as Friday temperatures climb into the mid to upper 70s.

A big weekend weather change is in store for Saturday with the arrival of a strong cold front Friday evening. This front will bring a return to chilly and windy weather Saturday. Highs are only expected to make the low 50s, but it will feel colder thanks to a brisk north wind. Saturday will be a heavy sweatshirt day for sure. The next freeze will come Sunday morning before temperatures turn around once again. The 60s will return Sunday and Monday.

Our next chance of rain is in the forecast for next Wednesday and Thursday when showers, perhaps thunderstorms, are possible.
