City, school board elections in Garland are coming up. Here’s when, where to hear candidates speak

Garland elections will be held on May 7 where residents will be asked to vote on three Garland ISD trustee positions and four city council seats.

The Garland Chamber of Commerce is hosting a public forum in two weeks, where candidates will speak about their policy priorities.

The event will take place on April 13 from 7:15 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Dallas College Garland Center at 675 W. Walnut St. Registration is required, and attendees can sign up online. Tickets are $10 for virtual attendees and $30 for those going in-person
