Sunny weekend, but storms return Monday

Temperatures rose to 78 at DFW Airport on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon. And it will be even warmer on Sunday, with increasing south winds and highs in the mid 80s.

A good chance of rain and thunderstorms returns Monday. Widespread rain is possible, especially from early evening through the midnight hour. Though any rain is very much welcome, some storms unfortunately may become severe. All types of severe weather will be possible … tornadoes, large hail, and damaging winds.
