Fort Worth shooting wounds 3, police say

Three people were wounded during a shooting in Fort Worth Sunday evening, according to police.

Police responded shortly before 8:30 p.m. to the 4200 block of Miller Avenue, just north of the Martin Luther King Jr. Freeway, where they found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital, and his condition is not known.

Two other people sought treatment for gunshot wounds at other area hospitals, Fort Worth Police Capt. Shawn Stone said. Details about their conditions were not available.

Stone said the department’s gang unit is investigating the shooting. There are no suspects in custody.
