Dallas County Sheriff searching for inmate who escaped at DFW Airport

Authorities say they are looking for an inmate who escaped from custody at DFW International Airport on Friday morning.

The woman was being flown from Missouri to the Dallas County Jail to face drug charges and escaped from the deputy escorting her, the county sheriff’s office said.

The inmate, Jerrecca Louise Stevenson, was last seen walking near a hotel in Euless. Deputies said the 24-year-old Black woman was seen wearing a red hoodie jacket, black tank top and gray sweatpants. Stevenson still had her restraints on when she escaped.
