Hot & humid this week with a few chances for rain

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Talk about a hot and humid weekend! Those same conditions will continue throughout much of your work week.

Monday will start off in the low 70s but highs will again climb into the upper 80s! A couple of showers and storms will again be possible Monday but coverage looks lower than what we saw Sunday afternoon. We have a cap over us Monday but if we break that cap, we could see a few storms.

Are there any other chances for rain?

Monday and Tuesday will bring a slight chance of rain but chances increase at the end of the week as a weak front approaches. Models are still flip flopping on whether or not that front will move through so right now we are going with a 30% chance of rain for both Thursday and Friday.

How do our temperatures look this week?
Low temperatures should be in the low to mid 70s… highs should top out right around 90 degrees. Temperatures are expected to overtop 90 degrees this weekend.
