Welcome heavy rain is coming

After a high of 92 on Saturday, a strong cold front arrived, and on Sunday the high temperature at DFW Airport topped out at just 69 degrees. Quite a welcome change!

Sunday was rain-free, and most of Monday will be as well. But rain chances ramp up beginning Monday night.

Some of the models are suggesting two to four inches of rain is possible from late Monday through Tuesday and into Wednesday morning. Temperatures will likely remain below normal through Wednesday, before it warms up again by the end of the week, just in time for Memorial Day weekend.
