Windy and hot Memorial Day

Our sunny and dry weather will continue into Memorial Day. The unofficial start to summer will certainly feel like it, with highs in the low to mid-90s. Also, the south wind has increased once again. And that gusty south wind has brought Gulf moisture back to North Texas, leading to higher humidity levels. That has led to heat index values in the upper 90s.

Dry weather will continue the early part of the week before a chance of thunderstorms returns as a weak cold front arrives. That front will bring a chance for scattered thunderstorms Wednesday through Friday, and also drop temperatures back closer to normal levels for this time of year.
