Spotty storm chances continue

Rain and scattered thunderstorm chances are in the forecast once again today. Today’s rain chances for DFW are dependent on a storm complex out in West Texas. This batch of rain and storms is moving eastward and will likely weaken somewhat. However, there’s a decent chance they make it to the Dallas – Fort Worth area around midday. Storms are not expected to be severe, but there could be some gusty winds with some of them and brief heavy downpours. Otherwise, partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected with a high in the low to middle 80s.

One more chance of spotty thunderstorms is possible early Saturday. Most of the weekend though, looks warm and dry. Temperatures will be back in the 90s by Sunday with the upper 90s set for early next week.
