Woman killed in multivehicle crash in northeast Harris County, HCSO says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A woman was killed in a car crash involving three vehicles in northeast Harris County on Friday afternoon, according to deputies.

At about 3:30 p.m., Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a crash in the 19300 block of West Lake Houston Parkway at FM 1960.

HCSO said a woman drove westbound in a white Honda Civic and exited from a private driveway when she was hit from behind by a BMW that was traveling northbound. HCSO said both vehicles went into the southbound lanes, causing the BMW to strike a Jeep traveling southbound.

The 59-year-old woman driving the Honda Civic was transported to a hospital where she was pronounced dead, HCSO said.
