Missing person alert discontinued for 17-year-old boy last seen in Grand Prairie

Authorities are asking for the public’s help finding a 17-year-old boy with an intellectual disability who was last seen Friday night in Grand Prairie.

The Texas Department of Public Safety issued an Endangered Missing Persons Alert on Saturday evening for Chadrick Avery.

Avery was last seen walking about 11 p.m. in the 900 block of Duncan Perry Road.

He is described as a Black male who is 5-6 and weighs about 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, and was he last seen wearing a white tank top, black shorts and Nike tennis shoes.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts may contact Grand Prairie police at 972-237-8700.
