Construction worker dies in McKinney accident

A construction worker died in an accident Friday morning in McKinney, Collin County authorities said.

Investigators were called about 9:40 a.m. to the work site near FM543 and County Road 202, where a sewer-line trench had caved in.

The Collin County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as 41-year-old Paulin Sanchez.

The sheriff’s office and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are continuing to investigate but do not suspect foul play.
