Man wounded girlfriend, fatally shot her sister in Rowlett, police say

A woman was killed and her sister was hospitalized after being shot by the sister’s boyfriend Monday at a gas station in Rowlett, police said Tuesday.

Officers were called about 7:30 p.m. to a Valero in the 1600 block of Dalrock Road and found Hillary Plouck, 31, and Hayley Plouck, 24, wounded.

Hayley Plouck told police they had been shot by her boyfriend, 34-year-old Keith Richmond.

Richmond was taken into custody in Garland after a brief chase on foot, police said. He was arrested on charges of murder and aggravated assault.

Hillary Plouck died at a hospital. Her sister is expected to survive, police said.

Richmond is being held in the Rowlett jail. It’s unclear whether he has an attorney or whether his bail has been set.
