Fire crews are investigating after a home in Plano exploded Wednesday night, authorities said.

The explosion occurred about 9 p.m. in the 3700 block of Shantara Lane, near Parker Road and Willow Bend Drive, according to Plano Fire-Rescue. No one was inside the home, and no injuries have been reported.

Electricity and gas to the home have been shut off, and there is no damage to other buildings, the fire department said.

The cause of the explosion is unknown
