15-year-old girl found 4 days after going missing in northwest Harris County, deputies say

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A 15-year-old girl who was last seen in a northwest Harris County neighborhood over the weekend has been found safe, deputies said on Tuesday.

Authorities asked for the public’s help in finding Lydia Byrd, who disappeared at about 1 a.m. in the 10700 block of Tryon Drive in the White Oak Landing subdivision, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies did not immediately say where Byrd was found.

Deputies initially disclosed that the teen may have been with a male in the Killeen, Texas area.
