Man fatally shot early Sunday in southeast Dallas, police say

Police are investigating after a man was found fatally shot behind a shed on a vacant property early Sunday.

Shortly after 4 a.m., officers were dispatched to respond to a shooting in the 800 block of Wixom Lane. Officers found a man who had been shot behind a shed on the property, police said.

The man, whose identity is being determined by the Dallas County medical examiner’s office, died at the scene, police said, adding that the investigation is ongoing.
