Muggy and sometimes stormy

An unsettled weather pattern will continue to bring rain chances to North Texas the next few days, so keep the umbrella nearby.

Showers and occasional storms remain in the forecast through the Labor Day weekend. That’s not to say it will be a washout of a weekend because it won’t. It’ll be warm and humid with daily rain chances, but the coverage of the storms Friday through Monday will be rather spotty, meaning not everyone will get wet every day.

Given the high humidity, any storms that pop up will have the potential to produce heavy rain and perhaps even isolated flooding. Also be mindful of the lightning that can accompany the rain.

High temperatures will remain below normal in the 80s, but the humidity will be quite high making it feel rather uncomfortable.
