Police investigating man’s fatal shooting in Fort Worth

A man was killed in a shooting in Fort Worth on Wednesday evening, police said.

Around 6:20 p.m., police were called about a shooting victim in the 9100 block of Camp Bowie West Boulevard, just off Interstate 820. The man had been driven there by an acquaintance, police said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Police said they believe the call was related to a shooting near the 3000 block of Las Vegas Trail, about a mile away.

The incident is still being investigated.
