Suspect in custody after shooting kills 1 at Big T Plaza in Oak Cliff, police say

One man was killed and two were wounded in a shooting at the Big T Plaza in central Oak Cliff on Saturday afternoon, and a suspect was in custody.

Dallas police responded about 1:15 p.m. to a shooting call at the popular shopping center in the 4500 block of Village Fair Drive.

Corderro Robinson, 36, died at the shopping center, police said.

Officers performed life-saving measures on the two other victims until Dallas Fire-Rescue took them to a hospital. Their conditions were not available late Saturday.

Police said Robinson was involved in an argument before the shooting.

Officers arrested 26-year-old Javis Dixon on a murder charge. He did not appear in jail records Saturday night, and it was unclear whether he had an attorney.
