A weak cool front brings humidity relief this week

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A weak cool front moved through Sunday which will bring a nice humidity drop to SE Texas this week.

Monday should start off mostly sunny with lows in the low 70s. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies are expected through the afternoon. Highs should top out in the low 90s. With the lower humidity in place, it will feel like a much more comfortable dry heat than what we have been experiencing lately.

So how cool will we get behind this front?

You’ll feel the biggest change in the mornings Tuesday through Thursday when temperatures dip into the upper 60s. Front or no front, high temperatures will still climb into the low 90s, so it’s not yet time to pull out the fall wardrobe.

What’s happening in the tropics?

The Atlantic is overall quiet with just one area of potential development right off the coast of Africa. For the very latest check out our daily tropical update.
