HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — This weekend is as nice as you could ask for with crisp, cool mornings and warm afternoons. Our humidity will continue to stay on the low side.
You’ll be hard-pressed to find a cloud in the sky, and the UV index will be very high between the hours of 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.
How long will this fall fresh air stick around?
We should see morning temperatures drop into the mid-50s through Sunday! Afternoon highs will rise into the mid-80s. At least the humidity will be low enough to open the windows when the temperatures are cooler during the first half of the day. This pattern of cooler mornings and warm afternoons will stick around all the way through the first few days of October.
What’s happening in the tropics?
Ian continues to weaken as it moves northeast through the Carolinas and Virginia. It will continue to bring heavy rain to parts of the northeast through Sunday. For the very latest check out our daily tropical update.
