Man arrested on capital murder charge in deadly Pleasant Grove shooting

A 29-year-old man was arrested on a capital murder charge in a late-September shooting that left one man dead in Pleasant Grove.

Byron Darnell Wade was taken into custody Wednesday by the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force and booked into the Dallas County jail, according to Dallas police. Wade did not have an attorney listed in court records, and his bail had not been set.

About 10 p.m. Sept. 24, police responded to the 9600 block of Scyene Road and found 32-year-old Donnie Davidson with multiple gunshot wounds. Davidson was taken to a hospital, where he died.

Police did not say how they identified Wade as a suspect.
