2 juveniles detained after 19-year-old stabbed to death in Far East Dallas

A 19-year-old was fatally stabbed Wednesday night in Far East Dallas, police said Saturday.

Police responded about 8:50 p.m. to a 911 call about a fight in the 8400 block of Freeport Drive, near John West Road and North Buckner Boulevard, where they found Elijah White unresponsive. He was pronounced dead there.

Police said two juveniles, ages 13 and a 16, were taken into custody. Their names were not released because of their ages.

No charges have been filed, authorities said Saturday, and the investigation is ongoing.
