A strong cold front will hit North Texas this weekend

It’s another foggy start for some across North Texas. A Fog Advisory is in effect for counties to the northeast of DFW until 9 a.m. Otherwise, morning clouds will give way to partly sunny skies later today. It will be another warm and humid day with a moderate south breeze.

Thursday will be the last warm day with a high near 80 before a powerful cold front arrives Thursday night. This front will bring a dramatic “fall chill” Friday and this weekend. It will also bring a brief chance of showers Thursday night into early Friday. The Veterans Day parade will be blustery with a strong north wind and a temperature in the 50s.
